Logistics has recently designed nine large fast moving chilled
and ambient distribution centres that have either been built or are
under construction.
Our designs incorporate all customer nuances, total supply chain
site integration, product ranges, transport considerations,
handling requirements, environmental, occupational needs and
relevant Region, State, and Country legislative requirements
Typically Costa Logistics work with customers to design
facilities that build upon global best practice and optimise supply
chain solutions. Every distribution centre design that has
been re-configured or transitioned to new construction has had the
comprehensive support and involvement of all stakeholders,
suppliers, 3rd party operators and customers
The designs include the complete fit out of the internal and
external infrastructure and accommodate not just the processing
needs of the products being distributed, but also wider supply
chain requirements such as truck refuelling, security measures,
salvage centres, recycling functions, car parking, recreation
facilities, connecting public roads and other key interactions.
With the appropriate contract arrangements Costa Logistics can
structure ownership and finance arrangements for the construction
of customer facilities releasing the capital commitments on our
clients
