Geoff Norman - Chief Operating Officer

Geoff Norman has held various senior mangement roles within the Costa Group and currently occupies the position of Chief Operating Officer for Costa Logistics.

 

During a career spanning over 30 years in the Warehousing and Distribution industry, Geoff has worked for Half Case (Composite Buyers), Berri (now part of National Foods) and P&O Cold Storage (now known as Versacold). His extensive experience and knowledge has allowed him to forge many strong relationships with some of Australia's largest retailers and FMCG companies and is recognised as an icon in the industry.

 

Geoff's specialties include supply chain strategy, single and multi-user distribution centre design and modelling, perishable product handling and storage mangement and procurement.

 

Tavita Sao - General Manager Operations

 

Tavita Sao is currently the General Manager of Operations for Costa Logistics and is responsible for all Operations nationally.


Having spent 9 years with Costa, Tavita has held various senior mangement positions including Operations Mangaer, DC Manager at Derrimut (VIC) and National Operations Manager.


Prior to joining the Costa Group Tavita built a reputable career and gained extensive supply chain knowledge through previous roles including Logistics Manager for TPF Restaurants (Burger King NZ) where he drove the implementation of a new composite DC in Auckland, NZ, and over 10 years experience with Coles/Kmart in Australia & NZ predominantly in shipping, imports and customs, and DC and transport management of the Kmart NZ DC.



 

Ross Walter - General Manager Business Development

Ross Walter is General Manager Business Development for Costa Logistics responsible for sales & marketing, strategy, capability development and business projects.

Ross' background is in retailing, operations, supply chain and consultancy, having worked for major companies such as Kmart, Safeway, TNT Group and CEVA Logistics over the past 15 years.

He has worked on supply chain projects across Australia and numerous countries in Europe on behalf major blue chip customers and has logistics experience in a number of market sectors including Telecoms, FMCG, Healthcare and Retail.

Ross holds a Bachelor of Business (Transport & Logistics Management) from RMIT University Melbourne, as well as being a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport Australia (CILTA).  He is also an Associate Fellow of the Australian Institute of Management (AIM).

Glenn Southward - People & Culture Manager

Loretta Sheales is the People & Culture Manager at Costa Logistics, she commenced with the Company in June 2008.
She is responsible for developing and implementing our people strategy in line with the broader Costa Group strategy.
She has several years experience in Human Resource Management roles based in Melbourne at Melbourne Health and more recently at Forensicare.  Prior to this she has worked in rehabilitation counselling, and in workers compensation claims management and Premium management roles.
She has a Master of Education and a Graduate Diploma in Human Resources and Employee Relations.

Glenn Southward is the People & Culture Manager for the Costa Logistics and Costa Farms business units which form a portion of the Costa Group of companies.

 

Glenn is responsible for all Human Resources & Employee Relations processes within Costa Logistics including Costa's unique PeopleFirst programme, recruitment, learning and development, training and employee/industial relations matters.

 

Prior to joining the Costa Group, Glenn has held various Senior HR roles with leading manufacturers such as Pilkington (where he was General Manager - NZ), Laminex and Southcorp Wines.

 

Glenn holds  a double degree in Industrial Relations and HR Management.


Michael Ristevski - Information Systems Manager

Michael Ristevski is the Information Systems Manager at Costa Logistics having joined the business in January 2009.

He is responsible in managing the company's IT Supply Chain Solutions function, developing and implementing respective technological strategies in line with the overall business objectives..

Prior to joining Costa Logistics, Michael has held various senior IT roles in Australia with the most recent being with PMP Limited where he was managing a national supply chain transformation program.
